CUBA MINISTRY UPDATE

CUBA MINISTRY UPDATE

A tropical depression strengthened into Tropical Storm Debby went through Cuba last week.  The storm brought heavy wind, drenching floods and thunderstorms have spread over a broad area of the Island..

The photos on the left show the conditions of the pastoral home in Duranona.  There are many cracks in the walls that produce water leakage during the many storms that hit Cuba so often.

The photo below is the make—shift temple which is the “sanctuary” where they gather for their worship services. This is located in the back of the pastoral home and also suffered damages from storm Debbie.

There was a short bridge over the gap you see in the photo below that blew away during the storm.

Thanks be to God, there were no casualties during the storm but they lack resources to even fix the damages and prepare for the next storm/hurricane and feel more secure.
