Quote of the Week
“Outside of Christ, I am only a sinner, but in Christ, I am saved. Outside of Christ, I am empty; in Christ, I am full. Outside of Christ, I am weak; in Christ, I am strong. Outside of Christ, I cannot; in Christ, I am more than able. Outside of Christ, I have been defeated; in Christ, I am already victorious. How meaningful are the words, “In Christ." - Watchman Nee

Be Where Your Feet Are
Be where your feet are. It sounds like something you’d read in the Bible. Have you ever noticed how much the Bible connects faith to your feet? Explicit or implied, woven throughout the narrative are references to feet which stand, walk, step, stumble, slip, and follow. To Read More, click here.

Media Luna Methodist Church

There were 77 lbs of toys and medicines sent to our sister church, Media Luna Methodist Church in Cuba and, with God's favor, they should arrive there around December 11th.

Thanks so much to everyone who contributed to gathering the toys and the expense of sending them. Also thank you for praying for the toys to get to its final destination, the church, in time for Christmas.

Cold Night Shelter
Needed! - Wesley Volunteers to staff the cold weather shelter at Jackson Springs Park. The shelter opens when the weather forecast predicts the temperature to go below 40 degrees. We are looking for volunteers that can do a 3 to 4 hour shift when the shelter is open. We want to have many volunteers so no one has to do a shift more than one night in a row. Please be a part of this important ministry to serve the homeless in our neighborhood.
Also, we need to start gathering supplies. We always need gloves, socks, and scarves. For more information or to volunteer, please contact Nancy Blunk at 813 -966 -1496

Holiday Pack-A-Sack Food Drive
If your place of business is interested in having a food drive during the holiday season, I’d love to help you coordinate that with needs, information on the ministry, etc.
Last year, the Pinellas County Property Appraiser office collected needed items and it was an overwhelming success. Ascensus continues to collect items for Pack a Sack year-round and we are so grateful. Community Montessori also collects throughout their school year.
