Anxious for Nothing by Max Lucado
Does uncertainty keep you awake at night?
Do you feel weighted down with worry?
Could you use some calm?
The 12 Step Christian Living group will begin a 6 week study of the powerful book 'Anxious for Nothing' written by Max Lucado. Beginning on Wednesday September 4, we meet at 6:30 on Wednesdays in Room 202 of the FLC building.

It’s Pack a Sack adoption month for Wesley.
|
|
Thank you to all those that have donated so far. It is so exciting to see such a wonderful start to the adoption month.
|
We plan to actually pack bags on Sunday, August 25th. We will be packing before and after both services, so stop by and help us pack a bag. All bags will be collected and delivered to Town n Country and Dickinson Elementary Schools. We will set up tables and supplies in the overflow, and have our volunteers there to help!

We have lots of options for items that we are collecting and a sample display table. Look for those BOGO deals !!

WESLEY YOUTH MINISTRY IS BACK IN ACTION!
|
|
Wednesday night was just awesome! God is surely moving in the hearts of the Youth Group. Please continue to pray that God moves in the hearts of every teen that comes through the doors of Wesley. We know that God has big plans for them!
|
We started the evening discussing the Holy Spirit & the Gospel message! Great discussion took place between us. We watched The Bible Project's video on the Holy Spirit and a YouTube video called 'The Gospel Illustration'.

For real - - Everyone was excited for our special paint night! We had special guest artist come and teach us do marble artwork on canvas as you can see in the photo above. Everyone was into it!
|
The art pieces will be available soon for purchase as one of our fundraising efforts. Our goals is to save enough to get 20 children to Warren Willis Youth Camp & to raise enough to purchase about 30 bean bags for the youth to sit on! (the couches are gone!)
|
Youth Group meets every Wednesday night from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. and every Sunday for worship from 11 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Come yourself and invite a friend! Share the time with other youths!

Men of Wesley Memorial
|
All Men Are Invited to Join the Saturday Morning Men's Ministry and learn about being Men of Honor. It is a scriptural look how a man should live to best lead his Church, Family, and Community. Donations are accepted to Support the Homeless Ministry.

Ladies' Community Bible Study
Ladies, you are invited to join the 2019-20 Tampa West Class of Community Bible Study. Starting August 28th, we will meet on Wednesdays, either from 9:45 to 11:45 am or 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Our goal is that you will feel comfortable, cared for and confident in God’s Word. More than that, we pray you will be transformed by the Word of God!

Our study this year is called Stand Firm and will include the books of Joshua, 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Jude and 1, 2, & 3 John.
