Update on the Ukraine effort. We were able to secure 8 tickets from Warsaw, Poland to Tijuana for a family. Theresa will be picking them up there and taking them to Vermont where she and Scott are creating a host site for refugees. The medical trip is still on schedule for June and there are four people going, taking 14 suitcases of medicines and supplies. There is an updated amazon list for the future trip, you can find the "Link for list of Supplies to Ukraine" button under "Announcements & Upcoming Events". The team will be meeting again on April 21st and are needing help creating a sound process for hosting families here in Tampa. Anyone interested in helping, contact Tracey Shadday.

Wesley leadership is meeting this Thursday, April 21, to discern a way forward with the denomination. Please be in prayer. We are hosting a prayer vigil that same day starting at 9 am in the sanctuary. All are welcome. The prayer vigil will last until 1pm in the afternoon. We will be starting a study of Colossians on April 24 and hosting a Treasure Hunt at the conclusion of June 26 and we are planning a pot-luck dinner after the treasure hunt. Be sure to mark your calendars.

Congratulations to Denise Finnerty
who will be promoted from Assistant Director to Director of Bridges as of June 1st 2022!!!
In the meantime she is Director in Training working closely with Jennifer Foster.

GodGang is so excited about going to Camp Anderson aka Camp Andy this year!!! Last year we visited the Marianna location and this year we get to test their new Vero Beach location! We have 30 Students registered for camp and the majority of the students need scholarships. We need about 15 more scholarships! The Camp Tuition for each student is $275 (this is very affordable tuition for 5 days of room & board & food & ALL activities). GodGang Youth is so grateful for the support they receive from the congregation to make this happen for them.

Thank you to EVERYONE that has sponsored a student! You are a true blessing to a teen in a vital time on their faith journey! God sees you!

God has allowed me the privilege of sending out requests, since the day we did it by phone. However, now to bring the system up to giving new people the opportunity to serve in this manner, we're trying to change the way we do things. We are asking that instead of emailing me a prayer request, you can email the Church office ([email protected]) or use the link below (in blue) to enter your prayer requests on the Wesley Prayer Wall that is connected to the website. The steps on how to enter a request are featured below as well. If you could please help me in spreading the word on this change, I would greatly appreciate it.

Let us pray for you: When viewing the Worship Service, share/type in your prayer requests in the Comment Field. Your prayer requests will be recorded and added to the Prayer Wall in the church's website so that prayer warriors who visit the Prayer Wall can include your requests in their prayer lists.

We will no longer be having the Salvation Army Donation Drop Box here at Wesley. Unfortunately, there have been items that are too large being left outside of the Drop Box that couldn't be collected and it has become an eye sore & a difficult job for the Salvation Army workers. Below is a link for anyone that would like to schedule a pick up for donations through the Salvation Army.
