We are moving back into the sanctuary just in time for Holy Week. This is your opportunity to witness to friends and family the glorious reality of Christ's sacrifice for us. Palm Sunday will be filled with wonderful celebration music by the choir and praise team, and I will bring the message, "Where Do I fit In?" a learning from Palm Sunday narrative in the gospel of John.

Thursday night is Holy Communion night. The youth, GodGang, will be helping us relive the Passover by reenacting a scene and I will be sharing the words of Jesus around the table. Our choir will lead us in song and we will close the service by stripping the sanctuary in preparation for Good Friday.
|
Friday we honor the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross and remember the seven last words he spoke. We will be blessed with our choir again and have a special guest, Serafim Fitzgerald, who will be playing violin for us. Serafim's family is from the Ukraine and we will be taking a special offering for his friends and family still there. We will close the service with a candlelight rendition of "Were You There?"

who will be promoted from Assistant Director to Director of Bridges as of June 1st 2022!!!
In the meantime she is Director in Training working closely with Jennifer Foster.

GodGang is so excited about going to Camp Anderson aka Camp Andy this year!!! They have opened up a second location in Vero Beach, FL which is only 2 hours away from Tampa! We have 30 Students registered for camp and the majority of the students need scholarships. The Camp Tuition for each student is $275 (this is very affordable tuition for 5 days of room & board & food & ALL activities). GodGang Youth is so grateful for the support they receive from the congregation to make this happen for them. Thank you to EVERYONE that has sponsored a student! You are truly blessing to a teen in a vital time on their faith journey! God sees you! If you feel it on your heart to sponsor a child or 2 or 3, you can make a donation and give it to the church in the offering plate, make sure to put Youth Camp in the memo, or please contact Nadia at 813-750-6696 by text or email her at [email protected].

God has allowed me the privilege of sending out requests, since the day we did it by phone. However, now to bring the system up to giving new people the opportunity to serve in this manner, we're trying to change the way we do things. The steps on how to enter a request are featured below as well. If you could please help me in spreading the word on this change, I would greatly appreciate it.

We will no longer be having the Salvation Army Donation Drop Box here at Wesley. Unfortunately, there have been items that are too large being left outside of the Drop Box that couldn't be collected and it has become an eye sore & a difficult job for the Salvation Army workers. Below is a link for anyone that would like to schedule a pick up for donations through the Salvation Army.
