Bridges Preschool and Wesley will be coordinating to introduce you to Soul Painting!
|
On the third Saturdays of Sept. and Oct., Bridges will also have other games and activities. This is for all persons of any age and families coming together for some soul enriching time. You do not need to be an artist or have even painted before to benefit from this experience! Food will also be served. RSVP is not required but appreciated so we can adequately prepare for food.

A charge conference is held every year. Voting takes place for the Pastor’s
|
|
Salary, new Nominees for church committees (i.e., Trustees, Staff-Parish,
|
|
Finance, etc.). Voting is also done to remove members who have not been
|
|
active for the last 2 years.
|
|

We are excited to announce the complete schedule for Church in the Woods! If you are interested in camping overnight or renting a canoe or kayak, you will need to make reservations now. Learn more about the various locations here! (Please note: there will be a regular Sunday Worship Service at 10am on the church property for those who are not able to attend.)
|

We will be having "Finding God in the Woods" one weekend every month starting in November through April 2024. There will be a brochure available soon with all the dates and locations of upcoming events.

GodGang YOUTH GROUP
|
|
|
Thank you to all of our Wesley family that was praying for GodGang on Sunday morning! We had a blessed time together on the beach. The Lord was moving through Pass-e-Grille Beach! Nadia was inspired to bring our students to the beach by our beach excursion at Camp Realife and Pastor Ernie’s outdoor adventures. GodGang wants to share how God manifested your prayers for His Glory.
|
It was a blessing to have parents and students together enjoying God’s beautiful creation. The day was breezy, blessed and sunny. The waves were unusually big which called for lots of fun! We had a blast crashing and jumping into the beautiful waters of the Gulf! (Check out the videos!)
|
The Holy Spirit told me that we should have communion on the beach as we’re gathered together. So we did! As we gathered Nadia said she kept thinking about what it must have been like to listen to Jesus teach by the water. Nadia stopped by the church early Sunday and got some communion cups for us. We remembered Jesus’ sacrifice for us as we took communion on St Pete Beach, adults and students together.
Immediately after communion, came the biggest blessing of the day! Kevin decided he wanted to get baptized! He asked Larry if he would do it there on the beach and of course Larry said YES! God has been working on Kevin’s heart since before camp. It was a blessing to witness and we were all so proud of his decision to publicly declare that Jesus is his Lord & Savior!

What was surprising and unexpected was that God was moving in the hearts of other beach goers. We had several people come up to us and tell us that they were moved by what we were doing. Communion, fellowship, baptism. The Holy Spirit doesn’t need 4 walls to operate. Larry and Nadia were touched by those people that wanted to connect with us, one woman said we strengthened her faith by seeing Kevin be baptized. The Lord is calling us to be a witness in this life. God always shows up when we ask for His will be done.

Please continue to be in prayer for GodGang, their families, their spiritual journeys and this upcoming school year. We are very grateful for the constant love and support. Thank you. May God continue blessing each of you too!

If you haven't already heard, Pickleball in the FLC Gym is a pretty big deal around here. And it's one place you will always find Leslie Berlin when she's not leading CBS.
Today the pickleball regulars celebrated Leslie's birthday!

My God, You are faithful and just in all that You do. Your Word is true. Your promises are unbreakable. Your Work is trustworthy. Help my heart keep and foster these truths that I may confidently persevere through my struggles with strength from Your promises and assurances. Steer me away from my doubts and my tendency to impatiently take charge of things. Keep me from relying on mere human understanding and capabilities. Teach me to focus on You and find full confidence in You.
