The greatest blessing
a note from Pastor Ernie

Hello Wesley,

I am a fan of Tolkien and the Trilogy he created. It is a great story of how hope and all that is good can triumph over was seems insurmountable evil. Sunday we will be talking about the supernatural gift of hope and I thought perhaps a quote from the book would be a great Thanksgiving addition for us. When all is dark and evil and sorrow at their strongest, when all seems lost and there are no more warriors, when the world of evil has come to fight us with overwhelming force: this is where hope is born.
Tolkien quote
Tomorrow’s hope is born today. Our children see it in us, they absorb it until it becomes a force in their lives they cannot explain and cannot stop. God has chosen us to be His ambassadors not just to change us but to change everyone, not just to transform us, but to change the future for our children. The light of hope finds the cracks in the darkness. It pierces through at unexpected times and in inexplicable ways. It is supernatural.

I love being your pastor,

Ernie

We have heard from family members, churches, ministry organizations and friends that they are in need and our families here at the House of Mercy would like to give to them. Would you please help us? For your shopping convenience, here is a link with items you can order & have shipped to Agape House of Mercy (address below). Please consider sharing this link & email with others you know.
