Hello Wesley,
|
Hope we are all having a glorious summer. We have begun our study of Corinth and I want to remind everyone to continue bringing your mask to church every week until the study is completed.
|
|
This past Sunday I went through the tedious list of all of the issues the Corinthian church faced, and there were many. I knew it would be arduous but it was necessary. Each of the next few week we will be looking at the great "YES" Paul offers the church in response to sin. If you can, continue reading the two letters to the Corinthians each week.
|
This week we will be focusing attention on 1 Corinthians 1-6 if you would like to focus your study. The topics will include division in the church, discerning truth and authority, and human sexuality. This study is intended to reach beyond our local church, so invite others to listen in and participate.
|
|
We had some trouble with the Facebook feed for the livestream because of a copyright issue. When that happens, you can just go to the church's website and watch through You Tube.
|
|

This month’s guided-prayer gathering will be at the sanctuary on
|
Tuesday, July 19th from 9 am to 11 am
for those who able to come and lift up to the Lord the Administrative Board members and their plans, discussions and decisions to be made at their meeting.
|
This prayer gathering is for the sole purpose of asking for God’s guidance in giving our leaders discernment as we go forward. This is a shared commitment we all make as brothers and sisters in Wesley to pray and contend for the faith and our church. If you are unable to come to the gathering this month, please, during this time, lift up your prayers at home, work, school, wherever you.

We are so thankful for Wesley's contributions to medical supplies and medicines that were delivered to the war zone of Ukraine and funds raised to help close on the new 11,000sf facility in Derby, VT to house up to 40 refugees from Ukraine. Many of the families have a special needs child.
|
|
This will be an ongoing ministry at Wesley to provide funds for the ministry work of Agape House of Mercy. Below is a video of the journey introducing you to the people and families your genorosity is going to support.
