Hello Wesley,
We got a rabbit for Ezekiel this week, getting Brenda one in a bit as soon as we get over the COVID that has come into our home. My son came down and we celebrated Christmas with them through the window, talking with them on the phone. Just had a zoom Christmas with Ashley’s family, everyone in a different room. The whole point of the rabbit was to bring HOPE into the most bizarre of situations. If we let confusion rule, we punish our faith.
Ezekiel asked me how God could let his dad get sick. So I told him what God says. These kinds of things have been happening for all time and people always ask the same question and God gives the same answer: “just trust Me.” God does not offer us an explanation that makes sense, He says just trust Him. So as a statement of the HOPE we have in Christ, we bought a rabbit. Jeremiah purchased a field while the city was falling. The men on the road to Emmaus turned around and walked away from the nonsense and despair to hope and joy.

Honestly, that is simply what we need to do. Turn away from the darkness, find the light, and bring as many people as we can with us. I just planted 500 vegetable seeds. I know the future. Ashley’s favorite verse, “I know the plans I have for you”, says the Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 People of faith just believe that.

Sorry if you missed it, but the Silver Saints who came really enjoyed the Christmas Party Drive Thru. Each of us received a Christmas Cheer Package and we also sent cards to shut-ins to lift their spirits and we delivered 40 Christmas Packages to Silver Saints in our area. Susan Ivins.
