It is Christmas time at Wesley and there is a lot happening. Pay attention to the articles in the newsletter and participate. Here are the important dates:
|

December 11 Christmas Tea 11 am - 1 pm

December 12 Christmas Caroling 6 pm
|
|
December 18 Winter Wonderland 6 pm - 8pm
|
December 24 Christmas Eve Service 7 pm
|

Here is an update on the sanctuary renovation:
|
We will be begin having worship services in the FLC on January 16, two services as we normally have. We plan to live stream the message only until we get back in the sanctuary. This would be a good time to return to worship. Our target is to return to the sanctuary by Easter. We will be having three fellowship dinners while we are meeting in the FLC. th we will disAll will be at noon and the dates are: Jan 30th, Feb 27th and on March 24tribute home meals and have fellowship together. A main dish will be provided and we can all make the good stuff like desserts and salads.

We plan to replace all of the carpet and paint the walls in the majority of the main campus building and Nomads will be doing most of the work. The pews on both sides are being removed so if anyone wants a pew speak up now. Several people have asked if we can sell them or give them to another church and the answer is no. They are not solid wood pews but particle board and plywood. They have outlived their life expectancy by 20 years, so they have done their job. We are the ones God chose to renew the space just as a generation ago God called people to get started.

Financing: The cost of the project will exceed $55,000. To date, we have received $13,300 and we had $9,000 designated for new flooring from a gift years ago. We still need $32,300. Contribute as you are able. Help us get this done!

We're looking for a person or family that would love to offer support in helping this family have a Merry Christmas. Mom, Dad and their 4 girls ages 14 yrs old, 6 yrs old, 5 years old & 5 years old having been praying for GOD to make a way. We will no longer be having the Salvation Army Donation Drop Box here at Wesley. Unfortunately, there have been items that are too large being left outside of the Drop Box that couldn't be collected and it has become an eye sore & a difficult job for the Salvation Army workers.
