|
This week in worship we will have a look at Jesus’ intentionality in creating disciples for the transformation of the world. Just a few people, changed by the power of the Holy Spirit, are used by God to change the world. During the second service this week, we will have a time of interaction with one another and we will explore some very practical ideas we can share in our lives with others. You will definitely want to be a part of this. Those who are here live will find it very easy to connect. For our families still watching from home, I will be offering a live presentation of what the groups are doing here in church. If you are watching through the livestream, we will shut the main livestream down so that I can open my livestream in my office. It will work very similar to what we get on Tuesday mornings for devotions.

We have been sharing the model Jesus uses this month, 12/3/1. And this week we are focusing on the transformation from 12 to 3. I have been consistently amazed at the things I am learning having been a pastor for 40 years now. God is so faithful and only gave me what I could handle for many years. Now God is giving me solid food because I need it so much in my life.

I would like to take this moment to make an invitation. If you are looking for something more in your relationship with Jesus, something deeper, I invite you to be a part of one of the groups here at church designed to explore God’s word and go deeper. You are more than welcome at any of the groups. I am a part of two groups: Mondays at 10 am, a mixed group of men and women, sane and crazy. And Wednesdays at 6:30, all men, none sane. You will fit right in…. There are many other groups here at Wesley. This is the very best way to take your faith deeper.

We are so pleased to inform you that your preschool has once again been accredited by UMAP and continues to be a Florida Gold Seal Accredited school!

Jennifer does a wonderful job as director, especially during these difficult times - she has kept up the high quality that we have come to expect from the school.

Toys, Reusable Bags, Small Plastic Cups & Bowls and Bars of Soap are needed for the Shoebox Ministry!!! Please remember everything needs to fit inside of a shoebox, so make sure that all items are small. Shoe box collection & donations will continue until November 22nd. If you have any extra shoeboxes laying around at home please consider donating them!

The month of November is “Go” Month for Wesley and we invite everyone to think about those individuals that we know need a little help around the house and yard. There will be many "Go Days" throughout the month, not just one day that we will serve our community like we did last year.
|
Please take time to fill out the card below and send to the church office if you know of someone in need or wish to be a Team Leader.

Get your teams together and pick a date to remember “Others ARE Important”. We encourage you to invite your neighbors, coworkers and family to join you!

Wesley will be hosting a Delivery & Drive Thru Thanksgiving Community Meal! We need lots of help as always! Larry & Nadia will be heading it up again this year, with lots of support from GodGang. As always we are in need of 12lb turkeys & any gift cards or cash donations for the rest of the meal. We also are looking to bless families if you know of anyone that could use a special meal this year. If you would like to volunteer or sign up for a meal please use the links below:

We will no longer be having the Salvation Army Donation Drop Box here at Wesley. Unfortunately, there have been items that are too large being left outside of the Drop Box that couldn't be collected and it has become an eye sore & a difficult job for the Salvation Army workers. Below is a link for anyone that would like to schedule a pick up for donations through the Salvation Army.

Let us pray for you: When viewing the Worship Service, share/type in your prayer requests in the Comment Field. Your prayer requests will be recorded and added to the Prayer Wall in the church's website so that prayer warriors who visit the Prayer Wall can include your requests in their prayer lists.
