I just made a most scrumptious sweet potato pie with potatoes harvested this morning from lot number three. That is correct. I had three sweet potato lots. This is what it looks like now:

|
This is the pile of weeds I took out before I harvested them.
|
|
|
|
And this is the sweet potato pie. Yummy!
|
|
|
The entire process started in February. It required a great deal of tending, watching, weeding, obviously. Was the finished product worth all of the work? Well for my family absolutely. What about me? Here is what made it worthwhile, Brenda and Ashley loved it.
Many times Jesus refers to our souls like a garden, a harvest, a seed. I have no doubt that for God I am worth it, though there have been a great many weeds along the way.
