Pastor's Notes to Wesley

From "Love Does" by Bob Goff. "People who follow Jesus are no longer typical--God is constantly inviting them into a life that moves away from the typical. Even if they have normal jobs, live in normal homes, and drive normal cars, they're just not the same anymore."
I have always been drawn to the atypical and quite honestly the more society moves away from God the closer I get to God. It is as if society has become the south pole and I am being repelled, thrown into a world with God at the center.
The average person cannot wrap their head around the thought that a life can be Christ-centered. For them, that is a form of fanaticism that does not fit in with the norms of society, and quite honestly, they are correct. My passion to live a Biblical lifestyle is just plain whacky. "No one thinks like that any longer." Well I do.
What about you? Are you stuck in a typical life, pronouncing typical arrows at the other side? Or have you too decided to live a Jesus life and just let the world be the world? This week we look at Paul's target for the Jesus life in Romans 12. Hope to see you Sunday.

Wesley Please Welcome Sloane! Sloane has 3 children and 1 grandson. She has done this role in her previous church. Sloane is so happy to jumpstart this ministry again! She will be serving in the Nursery every Sunday at 9am! Let your friends & family know they have a place to bring their little ones on Sunday!

We had a wonderful time celebrating Vickey Paggio last Sunday! She has been faithfully serving Wesley Church for 38 years as an Administrator serving on many boards! Wesley would be lost without her! We showered her with appreciation and lots of love! Thank you for loving our Lord and church the way you do Vickey! May God bless you always! Check out the rest of the pictures below!!!!
