As a follow up to an earlier message, I have contacted Dignity Funeral Homes and they have provided me with planning guides for you to use as you prepare your family for your homegoing. Each guide has several pages for information and important contacts your family will need to make including people, groups, and vital financial accounts. Having everything in one place would be a godsend to your family. Dignity even provided me with planning guides designed specifically for veterans.

Let us all do our families a favor and get this completed. Come see me if you need some help.

I want to encourage you and let you know that we will be having a new member group this Spring. Anyone interested is invited to attend either in person or join us on zoom. If you are interested, contact Linda Mills 813-924-8804, and she will get you enrolled. Classes will be Sundays after church on April 11,18, and 25, and some of our ministry teams will be having light refreshments for us and letting us know about their ministries. We are also going to record the sessions in case someone has to miss a week. Our new members will join Sunday, May 2 at both services. Remember, May 2 is the first Sunday we go back to the two service schedule with a traditional service at 9 and a modern service at 11:15.

We would love to have a media team at both services starting that week and are looking for help. The new system is very easy to use and we will have training for you. If you would like to be part of the media team, contact Jensen 813-340-8085.

And for our spiritual health, we are planning a full Holy Week experience. Our children will be joining us for Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday communion service at 7 pm, and Easter Sunday. On Good Friday, 7 pm, we will be sharing the seven last words of Jesus and a candlelight experience. It will be an inspiring week.

The Women of Ruth Circle invite all ladies of Wesley to a reorganization meeting on Thursday April 1, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. in the overflow area. UMW is celebrating 150 years of dedication to spiritual growth, fellowship, and its mission to women, children, and youth around the world. Please wear your mask and we will be social distancing. We look forward to your smiling face and faithful heart.

A HUGE thank you to Susan Lamont for presenting Pack a Sack as the preferred charity for the Annual Hawk Walk at Tampa Day School held on March 5th. Susan (Jack and Addie) were instrumental in getting Pack a Sack as the chosen charity for this year's walk. We have been the recipient in the past, so we are overwhelmed by the continued support of the Lamont Family and Tampa Day School. The numbers are still being tallied but we are set to receive a check for

$2100!!!! Please make sure you say thank you to Susan when you see her – she’s been such a big supporter and we are grateful. It’s such a fun day for the kids and they really seem to love the idea that all their hard work goes towards helping a local charity. Great job Tampa Day School.

George and Linda Wieland have been helping us with organizing the food bags and packing. They were able to pack through April 12th, so a BIG THANK YOU to them for always being willing to help.

The Needle Craft Group will resume meeting in the craft room April 1st... Every Thursday 9am-12pm. Please bring any projects from home you would like to work on and we will discuss group projects we might do or new needle crafts you may want to learn. We have 2-3 sewing machines but if you would like to bring your own please do. We enjoy embroidery work, crochet, knitting, sewing projects both hand and machine.

Worship Under The Stars will be a family-friendly, socially distanced event! There will be live worship bands from across Tampa Bay, Prayer Spaces, Ministry tables, and Food Trucks! There will also be a canned food collection for Kaye Prox Food Bank. Save the date!
