September 30 - October 6,2024
I am filled with gratitude and joy as I reflect on the ways we have come together as a church family to serve our community. This past week, we were able to feed many of our neighbors, and I am excited to announce that we will continue this ministry every Wednesday night at 6:00 PM. You are warmly invited to come out, share a meal, and fellowship with one another. We are truly all in this together!
I also want to express my deep thanks to our Florida Annual Conference for their generous support, in sending us almost 100 flood buckets and essential toiletries to distribute to those in our community affected by Hurricane Helene. This act of love and service would not have been possible without the collaborative efforts of our church, conference, and volunteers like you.
We also hosted the Bay Crest Community in the FLC on Monday night for an informative meeting on cleanup, remediation and dealing with insurances and FEMA. The room was packed and we didn't have enough chairs to host them.
As we move forward, let us continue to embody Christ’s love in all we do. Whether you come to share a meal, help with distribution, or simply offer a kind word, know that you are making an impact in the lives of others.
I look forward to seeing you in worship on Sunday at 10:00 AM in the FLC Fellowship Hall.
