The Apostle Paul knelt on the beach with his friends from Ephesus as they said goodbye and they too cried together. Wesley is a great church with strong leaders and a clear vision. Our new pastor ,Ontonio Christie, will be joining us July 1. He is a Licensed Local Pastor from the Alabama-West Florida Conference. He previously served as associate pastor at Fairhope UMC in Fairhope, AL and St. Andrews UMC in Panama City, FL. He
graduated from Edna Manley College of Visual Arts and Columbia Theological
Seminary. He worked as a graphic designer, web designer, and director of
communications before pursuing ministry full-time. His gifts for ministry include
preaching, communication, leadership, adaptability, and creativity. Ontonio is married to
Kadine, who works as a writer, and together they have three children, Zahara,
Markolee, and Zuri.

Today Rev. Ontonio stopped by the office and took the time to visit the Needles group and learn about their ministry. The Needles group makes blankets and dolls for the Children's Home as well as other ministries. All are invited to stop by or bring their own project to work on.
|

Special Testimony Sunday

Please join us this Sunday for a special service of music and testimonies.
|
|
Kristine Johnson, our SPR chair, will be moderating an interview style testimony service with some of our younger members of our congregation. Come and support each other as they share a little about their spiritual journey and we all prepare for a new chapter in the life of the church.
|

Please help the church save money on paper and printing by checking in virtually on Sunday Service and receiving a bulletin. The QR code will be posted on the outside and inside of sanctuary entries, in the pews, and at the information desk. Give it a try and see if it works for you. Paper bulletins will still be available if preferred.
